In 1972, Food for the Hungry began working in Bangladesh by distributing rice to the poor. Over the last 40 years, FH has partnered with Bangladeshi leaders and impoverished communities to create better living conditions. From January 24 – February 1, follow some of incredibly talented bloggers as they recount their experiences each day as they journey to FH communities in Bangladesh. Esther Havens is a Humanitarian Photographer. She captures stories that transcend a person's circumstances and reveal their true strength. She has worked on social-awareness campaigns with organizations such as charity: water, TOMS Shoes, Concern Worldwide and A Glimmer of Hope. Her images compel thought and challenge action.
